Huawei’s foldable phone is here, and it’s called the Mate X. The tech giant says it’s ready to usher users into the future by “redefining the future of design and technology.” We never thought this day would come. While other companies are still trying to solve the no-notch, all-display dilemma, a select few are making 2019 the year of the foldable phone. Once a dream is now becoming a reality here at Mobile World Congress , and Huawei is taking the charge. The Mate X is first a dual-display smartphone, but at the same time, a tablet. There are three different screen sizes depending on use: front folded 6.6-inch 19.5:9, back folded 6.38-inch 25:9, and 8-inch 8:7.1 tablet. It’s only 5.4mm in thickness.
